Witham Valley Care Group is expanding and as part of our overall objectives for the organisation this includes offering services to a wide range of people both with and without learning disabilities. One of our areas for expansion is in the nursery and pre-school department. We are currently searching for suitable premises within the Lincoln area and hope to have achieved our objectives within this sector by September 2009.

Although this is not a service specifically designed for children with special needs, due to our experience of providing care and support to both children and adults who have learning difficulties and other associated conditions we are able to offer a sympathetic and supportive service to parents and their children who have been diagnosed with having a special need at an early stage in their development.

Children who attend the nursery but require extra support due to their disability will be fully integrated with the other children with the help of a suitably qualified and experienced nursery nurse they will be encouraged to participate in all activities and work towards achieving their own goals within the early year’s foundations stage.

All of our Nurseries will be registered and inspected by Ofsted and as such will offer a curriculum to all of the children who use this service, thus giving them the best possible start to life.
